The General John “Black Jack” Pershing boyhood home and Museum. Visit the boyhood home of one of our most famous military heroes in Laclede, Mo. - 7 miles.
Walt Disney Museum – Marceline, Mo, - 11 miles, is home to Walt Disney’s boyhood home, and now houses a museum dedicated to its most famous son. Each year, a local festival called Toonfest honors Mr. Disney and his vision of small town America in the town that was his inspiration for Main Street USA.

Have you ever visited a Covered Bridge? Just west of Laclede, Missouri – 7 miles, is the longest covered bridge remaining in Missouri – The Locust Creek Covered Bridge. On the National Register of historic Places, it is a beautiful structure and deserves a look.
